A Point Travel consultation is a 60-minute video call in which we work through your specific Colombia itinerary with current, honest, local intelligence. Before the call a brief intake confirms which destinations you are considering, your approximate dates, your group size and the specific decisions you still need to make. The 60 minutes is then spent on answers rather than establishing context.

What A Consultation Covers

Accommodation
Specific recommendations for each destination in your itinerary — the properties that deliver the right experience at the right standard for your group, currently operating and currently good.

Guides and experiences
Current, specific, named recommendations from people and operations Point Travel has vetted directly — whether the trip centres on Bogotá's cultural scene, Medellín's transformation story, Cartagena's colonial history or the remote reaches of the Amazon and La Guajira.

Safety guidance
The honest current picture for any route or destination where safety is a consideration — grounded in current local knowledge rather than generic official advisories.

Itinerary optimisation
Taking the framework our guide provides and building it into a specific, sequenced, realistic itinerary for your group — the right number of days in each place, the right order, the right logistics between destinations.

Logistics
The current domestic flight situation, which airlines are reliable on which routes right now, what needs confirming before you arrive and what can be arranged on the ground.

What A Consultation Costs

£150 per consultation.

This fee is fully refundable against a Point Travel tour booking. If you book a consultation and subsequently travel with Point Travel, the consultation fee is credited in full against the tour cost. The consultation costs nothing if you travel with us. If you use it to plan an independent trip, it costs £150 — the most efficient travel planning investment available for a Colombia itinerary of any complexity.

How To Book

Email chris@pointtravel.uk with the destinations you are considering, your approximate travel dates and your group size. We will respond within 48 hours with available times. Once a time is confirmed we send a payment link for £150 and a brief pre-consultation intake form. Come to the call with your questions. Leave with a coherent Colombia plan — the right order of travel, a realistic pace, clarity on what to include and what to leave out — and within 48 hours a written document covering everything discussed, specific recommendations and logistics confirmed.
